How do I get started?
Just purchase the WordPress Management Plan that’s right for you and then follow the instructions to provide us with a WordPress user account on your website.
We’ll set up your maintenance within 2 working days. If your plan includes speed and security optimization, we will also start those right away. Normally, we finish those services within a week. After that, you’ll receive an initial setup report and will receive weekly maintenance reports for the duration of your subscription.
How do I give you my login information?
For your security, we ask you to create a new WordPress user profile for UpThink (instructions can be found here). This is safer for you because it gives you the ability to remove UpThink’s access to your website at any time by deleting our user profile.
How do I give request an update or support?
There are 2 easy ways to open a support or request ticket:
1) Login to your UpThink account and submit a ticket through your client dashboard.
2) Login to your WordPress backend, click support in the sidebar, and enter your message.
What’s included in website updates?
Content updates include addition of new text and images to your website, changes to existing text and images on your website, changes to plugin settings, and simple CSS tweaks. They do not include development work, such as custom theme or plugin development.
As a general rule of thumb, if we can do it from the WordPress dashboard without editing files directly, we’ll do it. If we have access the site via CPanel or FTP or write or edit code, then it’s not included (this work is, however, covered by our development packages).
How long do website updates take?
Website updates are finished within 1-3 working days of when they are received.
How many website update requests can I submit at one time?
To keep management simple, we accept one request ticket at time for per customer. As soon as a request ticket is finished, you can file a new one.
Do you manage eCommerce websites?
Yes. Our Speed and Support plan includes eCommerce websites.
Do you offer custom development services?
We sure do. Our development services start as low as $60 USD per hour. You can learn more here.
What is included in Emergency Support?
Our Emergency Support service will help you solve any sudden problems that make your website unusable. Most problems can be solved temporarily by rolling back the website to the most recent backup before the problem occurred to temporarily fix the problem.
If your website was broken by website changes not made by UpThink (e.g. if your website is hacked or broken by a different developer) there may be additional charges for repairs.
What are your Emergency Support hours?
Emergency Support is available Monday to Friday from 9am – 9pm ICT (GMT +7).
We also monitor support channels and respond as much as possible during off-hours. We’re working hard to expand these hours and hope to provide 24/7 service in the near future.
